I love this chair mat, we have a plush carpet in our office and I could not move my desk chair whilst sitting in it. Got this gorgeous rug, unboxed it and put it down right away, put my chair on it and was able to move wherever I wanted to. I have gone off of the edge a few times but it is easy to get the chair back on the rug. I will NEVER buy a plastic chair mat again, although more expensive I am sure this rug will last for years and years (unlike the plastic ones).
